why It’s okay (and necessary) to explore this

For many teachers, topics like UAPs or consciousness might feel too “fringe,” too spiritual, too controversial, or just too big. But here’s the truth: children are already wondering about these things.

Kids are naturally open to mystery

They want to understand life, not just how it works, but why we are here at all. They wonder why we dream. They’re curious about aliens. They’re captivated by mythology. Their imaginations are wild and wide open, unafraid to ask the questions adults have been trained to avoid. When we honor that curiosity, we’re not leading them astray, we’re meeting them exactly where they already are.

kids deserve adults who can meet that wonder with courage and care

Exploring mystery is not a distraction from learning, it’s the heart of it. We don’t need all the answers to begin the inquiry. In fact, the best teaching has always started with mystery.
